Graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Completed a surgical internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky followed by a surgical residency at the University of Missouri and remained at the University of Missouri for an additional year as a faculty surgeon. In 2007, he became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Currently a staff surgeon and partner at Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals in Salado, Texas. Clinical interests include advanced diagnostic imaging, arthroscopic intervertebral foraminotomy, and wobblers surgery.
